The stall

You might use ChatGPT. It doesn't see this software. Someone still has to chase the work.

D-Tools has the quote. Backorders, extras, and programming still live with one person.

Quotes sit after the survey

The walkthrough was strong. The follow-up was not.

Equipment status is a vendor portal

Someone has to check. They do, when they remember.

Programming is a black box

One person can finish. When they are out, the job sits.

Change orders on site never hit the invoice

Another camera. Same ticket.

The work between the software

Not because one room is hard. Because quotes, backorders, and unbilled extras pile up every week.

  1. 01Follow up after the survey
  2. 02Check the backorder
  3. 03Flag the house waiting on programming
  4. 04Capture the extra camera
  5. 05Give the service tech the full history
  6. 06See which jobs look done but aren’t billed

What we install

Custom AI around the software your firm already uses.

We don’t replace D-Tools, Jetbuilt, ServiceTitan, Snap One, or your books. You don't have to understand AI. We build agents into that software so follow-up, monitoring, and reporting get done without anyone pasting jobs into ChatGPT.

D-Tools
Jetbuilt
ServiceTitan
Snap One
GoHighLevel
QuickBooks

Named tools are examples operators already run, not a pack you have to buy, and not a rip-and-replace list.

Specialized agents

Built around your firm. Not a predetermined pack.

Quote follow-up

Surveys that went well get a follow-up before the homeowner cools off.

Equipment watch

Backorders and vendor portals get checked so the file doesn’t think you’re waiting on a switch that already arrived.

Change-order capture

Another camera on site becomes a line on the invoice, not a gift.

Service history

Passwords and last changes stop living with the last tech. The next call starts from the file.

Sensitive sends can require approval. Agents get only the access they need. Your team keeps the judgment.

The free audit

We’ll show you where AI can realistically help. If it can’t, we’ll say so.

  1. Before the audit

You tell us residential vs commercial mix, D-Tools or Jetbuilt, and which jobs still live in a programmer’s head.

  2. During the audit

A 30-minute walkthrough of how quotes, purchasing, installs, and service actually move.

  3. After the audit

A ranked map of quote follow-up, equipment, change orders, and service, sorted by return and risk. What we’d build first. What we would not automate.

In the field

Detail Driven

Shown so you can see how it works, not as a fake smart-home case study.

We only publish work we have actually installed. Our automotive build is on the site so you can see how Cortex gets set up, not as a made-up smart-home case study. Integrators run D-Tools or Jetbuilt. The work that slips through is surveys that never became quotes, houses waiting on programming, and extras that never hit the invoice.

See how the system was installed

“Most operators do not have a software shortage. They have a people-operating-the-software problem. Cortex connects agents to those systems so the repetitive work between them no longer depends on someone remembering.”

Questions from integrators

Do I need to understand AI?

No. That's the point. We understand it. We implement agents in the software you already run. You stay the operator.

I already use ChatGPT. Why would I need this?

ChatGPT is a tab you open. It waits for a prompt. It does not watch your shop software, CRM, or books unless you paste the job in. Cortex builds agents inside those systems so the follow-up gets done without you becoming someone who 'does AI.'

Do I have to replace D-Tools, Jetbuilt, or ServiceTitan?

No. We connect to the systems you already run. The point is to make that software work harder, not add another login.

Will this replace my programmers or project managers?

No. Agents watch, draft, and flag. Money, promises, and judgment calls stay with your people. Sensitive messages can wait for your approval.

We do cinema and lighting, not just security. Does that matter?

No. Different rooms, same follow-up slipping between the quote, the order, and the file.

Do you sell a pack of agents?

No. We start with your firm, your software, your bottlenecks. The audit is how we find the first thing worth building.

What do I leave the audit with?

A ranked map of where AI can realistically recover quotes, catch gaps in the job file, and show you what needs attention, plus what we would not automate.

You don't have to understand AI to find out what it could do inside your firm.

A minute to apply. Thirty minutes on how the work moves. You don't have to learn AI. If we can help, we'll show you the build. If we can't, we'll say so.
